Can I do both Kingdomcity College and Greenhouse?

Yes. While Greenhouse is doable, dynamic discipleship that is designed to work no matter your stage of life – including full-time study at Kingdomcity College. 

Will there be a practical element to studying at the pathways?

Professional practice is a key element of the Diploma in Ministry. Students will be expected to allocate around 4 to 8 hours at a minimum per week to the practical component. There is no formally assessed component in the Bachelor of Theology and Post-Graduate Certificate in Leadership however some level of practical involvement with your local church is still presumed.

What will classes look like?

All courses will be taught online – released weekly and accessible on-demand. 

For the diploma, students will need to factor in a minimum of eight hours per week.

Is part-time study available?

For 2025, the Diploma in Ministry and Bachelor of Theology will only be available as full-time study. The course content will be accessible online and on-demand, which means that you can study at whichever time works for you.

The Post-Graduate Certificate in Leadership consists of four units total. This can either be completed two units per semester or one unit per semester. 

What is the time commitment involved?

For the Diploma of Ministry, students are encouraged to factor in a minimum of sixteen hours per week to study – eight hours for academic study and eight hours for practice.

Can I study at Kingdomcity College if I attend a different church?

Yes, you can. There is a practical competent to the Diploma of Ministry which will need to be outworked with your church pastor – involving a logbook that will need to be completed on a regular basis.

Will my prior learning be recognised as credits towards course completion?

Recognised Prior Learning will be considered on an individual basis and may be subject to the course completed and the date of completion.

Is live attendance required for classes?

All lectures and class content are pre-recorded and will be available on-demand through the learning platform. Lectures will be made available on a weekly basis to for students to study in their own time – provided that students stay up-to-date with their work. 

Who will be teaching the courses?

For 2025, class content will be a blend of Alphacrucis’ high-quality teaching material along with Kingdomcity teaching. 

Will I get to interact with other students?

An addition to lecture content, tutorial groups will be available where students will study alongside other students in your cohort (availability is dependent on location).  

Will I be able to study at Kingdomcity College if I work fly-in & fly-out?

It is unlikely that FIFO would be a barrier to entry. However, individual work circumstances will be considered during the interview process. 

Are there any scholarships or other available financial help options?

Australian residents are able to apply for FEE-HELP. Unfortunately, no scholarships are available at this stage. 

What does the enrolment process involve?

Applications are now open online. After submitting applications are submitted, each application will be reviewed to ascertain suitability to study. This will involve an interview together with your pastor. You will then receive an acceptance package together with forms which you will need to complete, together with a deposit payment to confirm your enrolment.
